 Hi, and welcome to another Hope From The Cemetery Video!!
​ Last video I talked about giving thanks and finding things to be thankful for when going through tragedies and how healing that is.
  Praising God is much the same. It lifts us up and gives us something to be happy about and gives us hope and new energy for each new day.
  I share the list of songs that I loved singing along too and that really spoke to me and kept me going in the early days after loosing our son.
   I also talk about how a couple of the lines in the song ,Just Be Held, really stood out to me one day and was the answer to my prayer for a message to share with others.

​And Welcome to another video from my Hope From the Cemetery series. This week I talk about finding things to be thankful for in the midst of  life's storms and struggles, and how powerful giving thanks can be.

    In this video, I read some scripture about how God has instructed us to give thanks in everything. And just how powerful and healing that can be when we are going through tragedies.
  We have to take our focus off our problems and put our focus on our heavenly Father and in His goodness and faithfulness. And in doing so we will be at perfect peace. And we will have joy and true happiness that is not based on our circumstances. We have to look more on what we still have and not what we have lost due to our tragedies.

  In this one I talk about the story of Joseph in the Bible and how, despite the fact, that many things were going against him for so long, it was all part of the plan and purpose that God had on his life. it's a beautiful story.
 And I believe God is using our tragedies in the same way. He is working out something beautiful.

 Welcome to my second video of the Hope From Cemetery series!
   In my last video I mentioned that when we are rooted and grounded in Jesus that we can stand strong when hard things come our way in life.
 In this video I talk about when life gives you more than you can  stand kneel. But i'm not saying that only when life is hard is when we hit our knees. No, we need to be leading prayerful lives all the time. Praying without ceasing as Thessalonians 5 says.
 But sometimes in this broken world we live in life gives us things that really rock our world. And it can makes go before our Father more than ever. And that's good.
 Kneel before the one  who is holding you. Kneel before the one that is holding your today and holding your tomorrow. Kneel before the one who said He would never leave you nor forsake you. He is waiting for you with open arms!

 I'm so excited about doing this series! And I hope you are as excited as I am!
  I look forward to you joining me as we journey together through this series this summer. We will be getting into scripture and getting to know & understand more fully the heart of God. And grow closer & have an intimate relationship with  the One who sustains and carries  through and is with us in our every storm. He said He would  never leave us nor forsake us.
 He is with us and for us no matter what comes our way, whether it be loss or some other sorrow and suffering. God is right there too in the middle of it. And He has a plan & a purpose to put to use what you have gone through. There is hope. And there is a better tomorrow.

  How does one find hope and have peace when the your life is shattered by the tragic and sudden loss of a child? Only with God can we go on in peace.
 This is our family's personal story of loss and the hope we have had in Christ through it all and how I know you can too whatever your story or storm in life may be.
  I have done previous videos on our story of loss, but this one is different that the others. In this video I take you over to exact the area of woods by our place where our son's quad accident took place. As I stand on the very spot where the quad rolled over on him and he left this earth forever I give you hope and encouragement that in God we still have hope.  How I believe God has a plan and a purpose for what He allows to happen in our lives. And that one day we will meet our son again in Heaven.
 That is the hope we cling to here on earth and what keeps us going strong until we have the joy of joining him one glorious day in heaven.

  Hey you all!
 Here is the video for my speaking event in Manning, Alberta on March 5th, 2020.
The first one of this nature. I feel it went very well, and even though we didn't have very many  come out, the ones that did come were really touched by the message and really enjoyed it. I knew most of them there and that helped put me at ease and made me very comfortable and confident behind the mic.
And now I am all geared up and excited for the next event on March 24th, 2020.
 SO if you are in the area and didn't make it to my first event you will want to plan to make for this one. It's going to be a great evening of encouragement and inspiration!
  Maybe you are facing circumstances that seem unfair, or a loss that seems unbearable. We are going to focus on the goodness of God and the hope and peace that comes from a deep faith and trust in Him. And how God uses the bad things that happened to us for our good and His glory.

Hey there, it's been a while since we've done a podcast episode due to the busyness of preparing for Mae's speaking events planned for March 5th, 24th, 2020. So it this episode we talk about that. The girls share a special song at the end of the podcast that they will be singing at our event. 
I also encourage you to step out and do what God has placed on your heart and in your life not being held back by fear.      (  My brother Lee, at the age of 46, passed away suddenly in a tragic vehicle accident early morning of Dec. 22, 2019. This is a little message of encouragement that I had the opportunity to share at my bother's funeral this past week. )
 The passing of Lee Denison was so sudden and tragic, and​ when something this tragic happens we are often left trying to make sense of it, and wondering where God is in all this, and why God would have ever allowed this to happen in the first place.
 Here is something I think we all need to know, sometimes God calls us through things instead of around them. And we will never know why. We just need to know who is on the throne and who's in charge. And It’s’ in the midst of our pain and suffering, that God is right there too. 
  As many of you know, my family and I experienced the sudden loss of our 14-year-old son in 2017.  I frimly belived that if our son was meant to be here he woud still be here, and because of that I felt a strong sense of God presence, peace, and calmness surround me.  God gave us the strength to face each new day ahead and joy that can't be quenched.
 Today we are once again faced with tragedy, and my desire is that each one of us here may be filled with that same peace, comfort, and joy that I have been. I want you to know there is hope and healing again after something as tragic as this. There is better days ahead. 
   For God restores, gives hope, brings life, heals broken hearts, comforts the hurting and lonely, and surrounds us in peace that surpasses all human understanding.
  May we all keep drawing closer to God, and keep pressing on! God never said life would be easy, but He said He would always be with us. God is near to the brokenhearted ( Psalm 34:18), blesses those who grieve ( Mattew 5:4 )and keeps in perfect peace whose minds are kept on Him.( Isaiah 26: 3-4 ) 

  Hey there,
  I am excited to announce that I am officially launching my speaking Ministry!
  Over a year ago I had really felt God putting on my heart about sharing through speaking, the many things the He has been doing in our lives since the loss of our son in April 2017.
  He has taught me so much, and I have grown so much in Him. The peace and joy  I have had in God since our loss has been is really indescribably. It's amazing what God can and will do when we put  our lives in His hands. He has the power to transform lives, heal the broken in heart, and turn something ugly into something beautiful!
  And I am eager to share that hope and peace He has given me to others that are going through tough things in life. 
 So I have made this little video to help promote my speaking ministry.
 And I need your help to get the word out there about it. Right now my speaking will have to be very local to where I live, but latter on, God willing, I hope we will be going many places to speak and share with others. We never know what God will do when we give ourselves for His service!

 Time is a very precious thing. In this episode we read verses about time, talk about being good stewards of our time, and making the most of of our lives and days for God. 
  I also talk about the fragility of life. When you have lost a loved one very suddenly and unexpectedly, you know that life is a very delicate thing and not to be taken for granted, not one day, not even a few minutes.  All our days, hours, and minutes are  precious gifts from God.
  May you be inspired to make the most of the time God has given you no matter how young or old you are. Your life is a miracle! And you are on this Earth and living in this time for a reason and purpose. Never forget that!
