Are you a busy mother and feel like you have more than you can keep up? You're not alone. As a homeschooling mother of nine I'm right there with you.
But here is some good news, relax. You don't have to do it all. Sometimes the best thing we can do as mothers is simply let some things go. Just don't do it. When we try to always keep a perfectly weeded garden, perfectly clean house, the laundry always caught up, and amazing meals on the table we run our selves ragged. We got to learn the art of just leaving stuff for another day and focus on what is more important at the moment which might just be sitting down and reading books with our children. Too often we moms we try to do more than God ever intended us to do. I hope & pray this has been a blessing and encouraging to you as you mother your children and keep a busy household. In Him, Mae Be sure and stayed tuned for more great future weekly podcast & YouTube videos.
Getting along with brothers and sisters is something all children struggle with sometimes, and families have to deal with. Most siblings will end up getting mad at each other over something, and scrap and argue with each other from time to time. That’s normal enough.
But despite the fact that it may be normal it isn’t nice to fight and argue, neither is it right, and children do need to know how to get along as best they can, get over whatever is bothering them, makeup, and keep ongoing. In this podcast, we don’t offer hard and fast answers, but we do talk about ways we work out issues like this in our home. Things that work or haven’t worked for us. The girl’s thoughts on it. And most importantly we get into the Bible and see what it says on the matter, so we share Bible verses about getting along with others.

Hey everyone!
Here is another episode of our mom and girls podcast for you! This one is one true beauty and what God has to say about it. May we be more focused on the condition of our hearts than the outer appearance. Clothe ourselves in humility and the adornment of a meek and quite spirit. May you be blessed and and encouraged ! in Him, Mae Below is the list of verses on beauty that we read on the podcast, along with a few others too. Matthew 11:29 King James Version (KJV) 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 1 Timothy 2:9 King James Version (KJV) 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;1 Timothy 2:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 1 Peter 3:3-4 King James Version (KJV) 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Samuel 16:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. 2 Timothy 2:22 King James Version (KJV) 22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 1 John 2:15-17 King James Version (KJV) 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Colossians 3:5 King James Version (KJV) 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: Ephesians 2:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Romans 12:2 King James Version (KJV) 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 2 Timothy 4:8 King James Version (KJV) 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 1 Peter 5:5 King James Version (KJV) 5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Proverbs 31:10 King James Version (KJV) 10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:30 King James Version (KJV) 30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

We have gotten into the very busy part of summer here now. With our garden things coming ready, lots of weeding to do, animals to tend, berry picking time coming soon, company coming, and the children in summer camps. So this is to say I have decided to take a break from blogging and vlogging for a few weeks. But if I do manage to have some time and some inspiration to write, I certainly would jump on here quick and do that, otherwise the pressure is off me to try and do this weekly. Summers are short and sweet how they are this far north, so you really have to make the most of them and I want to make sure I have plenty of time for my family. As well as to be able to enjoy all the things of summer. Before I sign off here I just want to give you some advice and encouragement so you can make your summer a great one too!

( careful not to be distracted on your phone, etc..) ~ Be deliberate about putting God and the things of God into your lives on a daily biases. ~ If daily family devotions are not a regular a part of your lives, start this summer! ~ Make God a part of your normal conversation. ~ Make every moment a teachable moment. ~ Be patient with your children, and slow to anger. ~ Be consistent and firm, yet loving in correction. ~ Think of new ways to connect with your children, & really be a part of their lives this summer. ~ Be careful only to say those things that will uplift, encourage, & inspire them to want to do their best to please you and God. ~ And don't forget to take time for you, to rest & rejuvenate, and connect with God so you can continue pouring into your family. Keep up the great work moms! May you have a blessed summer! And remember as always I love hearing from my readers. I want to hear your comments, questions, and prayer requests. And I will reply as soon as I can. In Him, Mae Hey, here is vlog for you this week! Making God the center of your life and homes I know I have talked about this in previous blog posts, but just felt a desire to talk about this again this morning on video. How important that we make God first place in our lives, our homes, and in everything we do. God wants and desires that close relationship with us. And we wants not only to dwell in our hearts, but in right in our homes with us as go about our day, everyday. Hoping this little video will encourage and inspire you as you implement this in your home, and impart God to your children. In Him Mae Hey there! Here is great vlog for you this week! Over my approximately 10 years of blogging I have been asked many times how I have time to blog. And now that I've been writing books combined with that I am certainly asked that question. So in this video I answer it the best I can. And not only answer the question in how I get time to blog and write in midst the the business of mothering, housekeeping, gardening, and homeschooling, but I also let you know how you can get time to do it as well. Or any other thing that you are desiring to do, but don't see how you can get the time to do it. If there is a will there is a way! So this video will give you the perfect inspiration you need to do what it is God has called you to! Are willing to give of your self? If you give it to God He will bless it! Watch and be inspired! In Him, Mae A video blog post for your encouragement and enjoyment! On here I talk about what is keeping us busy this spring. And have included several pictures that showcase that. Also I lightly talk about the dangers of children on the internet. And I talk from experience on this. Iv'e had couple run-ins now with a couple of my children viewing behind my back unappropriated content on the intent. I highly recommend that parents be on alert where the internet is concerned, because even the best of children can be tempted at times. Check history time to time, and not just ask them because they may lie to you due to being afraid. Iv'e had experience that issue too. And then if you have found bad content on their watch history comfort them carefully and in love. I had very good results when I did this. And this particle child was so glad I finally uncovered what he had been doing. He was sincerely repentant and glad it was over. And we had no problems again.
Well please watch, enjoy, and be blessed! In Him, Mae Hey you moms! From my home to yours, here is another video blog posts. The title of this video says it all. Children can live without cell phones. I know it hardly seems possible in the age we are living in. But our family of 9 children is living proof of of it! Our oldest son bought his first phone at the age of 18 1/2. So I did this video to be an encouragement to you, that if you want to raise your family that way as well, that it is completely possible! It truly is. Children can totally live without cellphones, i-pads, i-pods, i-phones, etc.... Now I'm not saying they don't need them for whatever reason, but they can live without them. Be encouraged to dare to go against the flow for the sake of your dear children. ( I do know these devices are not all negative though. ) Watch and enjoy! In Him, Mae Hey amazing moms! Here is another video blog post from my home to yours. I hope you enjoy! And may you be encouraged in your mothering to make the most of your reading moments with your children. Imagine if every time you read to your children, you read them only good Godly material that was edifying and built character, long lasting values, and drew them closer to the heart of God. WOW! May God be the center of your lives and in all that you do.
