Here is a list of 20 songs that were a real life saver to me after the loss of our 14 year old son.
There's nothing like the power of praise and worship.
And these songs speak about going through hard things, but yet God is good, He's in charge, and always with us.

I'm excited about the Canadian freedom convoy, and I'm hoping it brings about all changes they are wanting. I pray it all goes well!!
But can I talk about where true freedom comes from.
That's what we all need. so I hope you all enjoy this video. You can all visit my website and blog at www.maerenfroe.com thanks for watching!
Welcome to this week's video. I talk about the importance of looking for God in the little things in life.
Too often we can be looking for the big things and waiting on those answers for the big prayers we have been diligently praying, that we miss seeing God at work in the everyday.
I share two very amazing God divine appointments in my life recently and encourage you all to not overlook or downplay those little things. The little things often have just as much importance or impact as the big things and in some cases even more.
In Him, Mae Renfroe
It's a new year! May we look forward to all the new things this year will hold!
Look for new opportunities and new ideas for evangelism and outreach. Be open to new things God has for you to do or new places He wants you to go.
He just needs eager servants, obedient believers, and devoted followers!
Here is a link to the video I mentioned to David Platts message at Passion Conference 2022. It's very convicting and powerful message for our time.
May each one of us be found faithfully living out the purpose of God in our lives!
We must work the work of God while we still have time. And remember just as Jesus is we too are the light of the world.
Hey there, and welcome to this video.
I recap a bit in 2021 and give encouragement and inspiration to make the most of 2022. Inviting you to a more intimate relationship with God. Putting off the things of the world. So that we can be vessels for God's use. May we be found faithfully doing things God has called us to do while we yet have time.
' Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.' 2 Timothy 2:19-22 KJV
Be inspired today to seek more of God and please and honor Him in everything and every area of your life. Keep shining your light for the world to see!!

Hey there, and welcome to this video!
In this one I talk about my usual for this time of year. The traditions of Christmas, where they originated from, and why we should care, what God's Word has to say, and why it all matters. If you've never heard before that Christmas contains a lot of pagan origins surrounding the traditions, I understand you would find this upsetting and maybe even shocking. So please hear me out in the video and do your own research too.
For my video series I mentioned on here that I did this time last year just look for the video series or playlist Desiring Truth.

Hey there! This week's video I'm wanting to encourage us to know the days and times we are living in. To be alert and on guard of what is going on in the world. So that we are not deceived. And so, we can be living the way we should be in these last days. And to be found faithful and ready for the coming of the Lord.
I'm sharing things you probably been seeing on Facebook a lot. And it's just what's dominating our world right now. But may we be not consumed with this stuff, or held in fear, but rather looking to God who is our hope, our salvation, our redeemer, provider and protector.
Be not deceived. Don't fall for this world's schemes. It's all in preparation of what is to come, the mark of the beast, etc...
Get in the Word. Get in prayer.
Here is a link to a good video about end times that is quite in depth, and about that sculpture I mentioned of the lion with eagle's wings.

Life has been busy. Here is what's been going on in my life.
Homeschooling. Housekeeping. Working on my book. Organizing and packing for our trip to Texas.
Then our trip to Texas. Unpacking. Back to schooling. Back to working on my book. Schooling. Book editing. Schooling. More book editing.
That's been my life.
But good news! My book is nearly ready for uploading to the global network!

Today I'm talking about homeschooling.
And how we are doing things a bit more relaxed and taking a different approach to learning and homeschooling this year.
there's so many different options and learning styles that works for each child, and that is the joy and freedom of homeschooling.
What works for one may not work for another.
And you learn as you go. I hope you find this encouraging.

This is something you can share with others.
We got out of quarantine! So we went camping! Hopefully you will enjoy this vlog of our camping up in northern Alberta, Canada.
Hey, and welcome to this week's video!!
I'm talking about our 14 day quarantine from having just traveled to Canada from Texas.
It has me just a bit upset having to quarantine like this when we are all perfectly well and healthy.
and we are missing out on stuff.
Like the kids Bible camp, going camping with my mom and sister, or just going down to the river. it's a bummer.
Though even in this we have much to be thankful for.
thankful for our good health, for my family, for a safe and peaceful place to live ( there is alot oh turmoil in the world right now) and that I have God as my Hope and My Help!!
I also mention and fix something I said in my last video.
I let mothers know that being a mother is one of the greatest things you do.
It's great when families can be an outreach out side the home, but what we do in the home is so very vital, and is not less than.
And it's our first place of outreach.
To read my article Six Secrets to Living a Joyfilled Life please look here on my channel or visit my website and blog.
And keep an outlook for my upcoming book Holding on to Hope.
Our families story of loss and the hope that keeps them going.
This book is coming fall 2021.
Back in our Alberta home!!
in this video I give more details of our trip up from Texas, about how the spit tests we did didn't go as expected, and our 14 day quarantine.
Traveling is not what it use to be pre-covid for sure, I guess it's easier for those that have the vaccine, but getting much tougher on the rest of us.
if you haven't already go watch part of Our ROAD trip from Texas to Alberta.
For those of you following my youtube channel and wanted to see pictures and videos from our recent trip here you are!!
Part one vlog of our road trip from Texas to Alberta, Canada. This video covers days one and two of our 4 day road trip.
It contains video and pictures of sights and updates along the way.
I was going to post this video along the way, but didn't have high-speed internet to post it until we got home here to Alberta.
Now I will do another video to update how the rest of our trip went, how the the free tests didn't end up working out for us, and how the border crossing went.
There will be a few pics to go with it too.
Closed doors are so hard when it's things you've been really hoping and waiting for and you thought it was the right thing.
But we have to realize who is in control especially when we've been diligently praying for Him to guide and direct our lives, and when we consider it we certainly don't want that thing that doesn't have God's favor and blessing over it.
Closed doors means He's got something better in mind.
And when one door closes another one usually opens.
God is our guide and our protector.
And as we pray diligently for Him to guide, guard, and direct our lives, and then closed doors happen, that's Him doing just that.
Keeping us from situations that are not the best for us.
But closed doors don't always feel good at the time. I'm going through something right now.
But I just have to keep trusting, keep resting in Him, and praising Him for His guiding hand over my life. And be alert for the doors he does open.
I'll share a canva design I just made the other night from saying I just seen about closed doors.
Probably why I find it so hard is my lack of patience. I want to see things happen soon, and when it doesn't I think I've did something wrong.
Either not working hard enough in that direction, or not praying hard enough, not fasting.
Or a number of things.
It's hard for me to just realize and except that either it's just not God's timing yet, or maybe just not the door he wants me to walk through and he closed the door that I thought was open for me.
So that's hard. Hebrews 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 6:12 KJV Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV Mae Renfroe
This is a well-known verse, but we often only hear the first part of it, there is more! And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV So many of the blessings and promises that God tells us of in His Word almost say, " to them that love me and keep my commandments."
So then why is it we hear people saying the commandments are done away. God never said that. I invite you to listen to this video and draw closer to the heart of God.
And receive all God has done for us.
For the t- shirt I'm wearing. you can find that on my friend's Etsy shop
