A Study about Truth - Mae Renfroe

A study on Truth. God is God of truth
. If we don't have Truth we don't have God. I absolutely love all the verses that are about truth.
And I wonder if we realize what truth really is and the importance of it. God is the God of truth!
And I love this verse. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6 KJV We can't reject the truth and think we still have God.
We can't substitute the truth or compromise the truth. If we love God we must love the truth and walk in the way of truth. There's no other way!!
No other way to the Father but by the way of Truth only!!

Not everything that falls under the Christian name is of God - Mae Renfroe

There's a mainstream Christianity that isn't built on the truth of God's word.
Jesus warned us of false prophets, false doctrine, and lying wonders Satan would be doing to deceive as many as possible, and especially in the last days.
How alert we must be and constant in the Word of God.
Please read Matthew 7: 21-23,
Matthew 24, and 2 Thessalonians 2.

Hang on to that God given dream - don't throw in the towel yet - Mae Renfroe

Is there something you've been praying for, hoping for, and excitedly waiting for but it's just not coming about when you wanted, how you wanted, or not looking at all they way you thought it would?
Don't lose hope, hang in there, God's working it out in His timing and His way for His glory and your good!
His way doesn't always look the way we imagine it would.
And when we have to wait on things it builds character, strength, patience, perseverance and endurance.
So it's all good!!

Vessels for God's presence to flow through - you-tube video

Hey there, and welcome to this video.
I recap a bit in 2021 and give encouragement and inspiration to make the most of 2022. Inviting you to a more intimate relationship with God. Putting off the things of the world. So that we can be vessels for God's use. May we be found faithfully doing things God has called us to do while we yet have time.
' Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.' 2 Timothy
2:19‭-‬22 KJV
Be inspired today to seek more of God and please and honor Him in everything and every area of your life. Keep shining your light for the world to see!!

Tis the season to question the origins of the traditions! - you-tube video

Hey there, and welcome to this video!
In this one I talk about my usual for this time of year. The traditions of Christmas, where they originated from, and why we should care, what God's Word has to say, and why it all matters. If you've never heard before that Christmas contains a lot of pagan origins surrounding the traditions, I understand you would find this upsetting and maybe even shocking. So please hear me out in the video and do your own research  too.
For my video series I mentioned on here that I did this time last year just look for the video series or playlist Desiring Truth.

Are you ready? Know the days we are living in.

12/13/2021

Hey there! This week's video I'm wanting to encourage us to know the days and times we are living in. To be alert and on guard of what is going on in the world. So that we are not deceived. And so, we can be living the way we should be in these last days. And to be found faithful and ready for the coming of the Lord.
I'm sharing things you probably been seeing on Facebook a lot. And it's just what's dominating our world right now. But may we be not consumed with this stuff, or held in fear, but rather looking to God who is our hope, our salvation, our redeemer, provider and protector.
Be not deceived. Don't fall for this world's schemes. It's all in preparation of what is to come, the mark of the beast, etc...
Get in the Word. Get in prayer.
 In Him,
Here is a link to a good video about end times that is quite in depth, and about that sculpture I mentioned of the lion with eagle's wings.

Navigating closed doors. Can we see them as answers to prayer?

8/11/2021

Closed doors are so hard when it's things you've been really hoping and waiting for and you thought it was the right thing.
But we have to realize who is in control especially when we've been diligently praying for Him to guide and direct our lives, and when we consider it we certainly don't want that thing that doesn't have God's favor and blessing over it.
Closed doors means He's got something better in mind.
And when one door closes another one usually opens.
God is our guide and our protector.
And as we pray diligently for Him to guide, guard, and direct our lives, and then closed doors happen, that's Him doing just that.
Keeping us from situations that are not the best for us.
But closed doors don't always feel good at the time. I'm going through something right now.
But I just have to keep trusting, keep resting in Him, and praising Him for His guiding hand over my life. And be alert for the doors he does open.
I'll share a canva design I just made the other night from saying I just seen about closed doors.
Probably why I find it so hard is my lack of patience. I want to see things happen soon, and when it doesn't I think I've did something wrong.
Either not working hard enough in that direction, or not praying hard enough, not fasting.
Or a number of things.
It's hard for me to just realize and except that either it's just not God's timing yet, or maybe just not the door he wants me to walk through and he closed the door that I thought was open for me.
So that's hard. Hebrews
6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews
6:12 KJV Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 KJV  Mae Renfroe

The well-known verses - there's more to them than you often hear

7/14/2021

This is a well-known verse, but we often only hear the first part of it, there is more! And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Deuteronomy 28:13 KJV So many of the blessings and promises that God tells us of in His Word almost say, " to them that love me and keep my commandments."
So then why is it we hear people saying the commandments are done away. God never said that. I invite you to listen to this video and draw closer to the heart of God.
And receive all God has done for us.

Six steps to a joy filled life - Parts 2

7/9/2021

Hi there, and welcome to PART 2 to living a joy filled life. ( original done as a video )

In the first part we covered Giving thanks, Rejoicing and praising the Lord, and forgiving.
It’s not that I have this all figured out and am always living this joy filled life, but I know it's possible and it's spiritual. It’s possible and spiritual and there is really not  any other way that we would want to live.
Part 2 to six steps to living a joy filled life. ( steps 4 -6 )

4. Dying to self     - no longer I that liveth
protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.  1 Corinthians 15:31
Everyday we have to choose I'm going to die to flesh and live more for God, a little less of me and whole to more of Him.
No longer is that liveth.  Galatians 2:20
Denying the flesh, not living for self. :laying down our will for His. Full surrender. Thy kingdom, they will be done. Matthew 6:10
Seeking His will and His way in our lives.
How do we die to self when we are still very much living?
We have to lay down our will, our wants, our way, our will, and seek His. And we got to what He wants for us, His will, His desires for us. And in scripture we can read how he wants us to live and the plans and desires he has for us, and we have to really lay down our will and surrender completely to HIm.  Completely every day surrender to Him, saying not my will but yours be done, and die to the flesh. I know that’s easier said than done, right? But its something we have to do everyday and with Gods help we can do it.
I can do all things through christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

It’s something we have to do every day and seek his desires for your life. A little more of HIm and a little less of you. And just be very selfless in God and be kingdom focused.
A little less of me today and a whole more of Him, and in doing so it will keep us joyful.
“ All I need today is a little bit of coffee and a whole lot of Jesus.”

5. Seek first the kingdom of God
Matthew 6:33 - 34
Not self focused. God focused. Others focused.
Seek first the things of God. Things that please and honor God.
That's very similar to dying to self. Just seeking first the kingdom and the things of God, seeking first his will and his ways, and helps us to be selfless.
And we take the take the focus off us and put all our fucus on Him, and the more we do that the less we will think about us, and the things we want, or our will, or our feelings.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God.
Being focused on Him and on the things that please him, and thats what makes us more joyful. We are to seek to please HIm in all things, and so often we do things or watch movies that are not pleasing to him, and not really give much though to weather it’s pleasing to Him or not. We are more concerned if it will hurt us or effect us instead of if it is honoering or pleasing to Him. And we say things like it’s not evil, or it’s not hurting us, I enjoy it. We only think how it will effect us, nad yet it was never about us, it’s about Him and weather is pleasing or honoring to Him, and what hurts God does hurt us.
Prove what is the good and perfect and acceptable will of God. Is this pleasing to God is this acceptable to God and not about .  And we need to lay down what we want or we think is good, and see what He thinks is good, what His word say about it. And we can easily find that out in scripture. Philippians 4:6-8

6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
He will keep our hearts and minds when we keep focused on Him, and make our request known unto him with thanksgiving in our hearts. And keep us in peace that we can even wrap our minds around.
Veres 8 is how we know what is pleasing to God, so we can say it’s ok, i don’t mind, but it wasnt about us but about Him. He gave us a perfect guideline about what to watch or read or listen too ect… This is my go to verse that i go to rate a movie, book, song, etc… I often say either memorize this veres or tape it to your laptop or tv screen. Tape it somewhere handy and so you can think is it lovely, is it pure, is it of good report, is it true, etc…. If not out it goes. Because we want to please the Lord in all things and all areas of our lives, so we have to keep laying down what we think is good and what we want., or what we think, but what he thinks, because its all about him. It’s just wonderful when we lay ourselves down completly and choose His way and His will and we will be truly happy. Thats how we can truly live a joyfilled life.

6.  Trust - Trusting God in all things and every situation
Trust and rest in God knowing he is in control which brings peace of mind.

Psalm 27:14 ; Psalms 31:24; Isaiah 26:34; Psalm 29:11; Psalms 13:5-6; Psalms 147:11
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5-6

Isaiah 26:3-4New King James Version 3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You.4 Trust in the Lord forever,For in Yah, the Lord, is [a]everlasting strength. You want to be in perfect peace, keep your minds on Jesus. Don’t keep our mind or our focus on the news, on your troubles, problems, and the things around you.  That’s whats going to keep us down and get us worried about things when we listen to the news, and all the crazy stuff  going on. God will keep in perfect peace those who keep their minds on HIm.
But its a choice we have to make and keep on making.
The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear Him in those that hope in his mercy. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
The LORD taketh pleasure in those that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Psalms 147: 10- 11
Proverbs 3: 5-6  5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We don’t want to rely on our own way or our own thinking, but on God’s. OUr ways are not HIs ways and our thoughts not His thoughts, so we can see we don’t always think the way He does, so not everything we think is good, or right to do isn’t necessarily His way.  so we got to be purposeful about desiring that.
The wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 1 Corinthians:3:19
Isaiah 55: 7-8  7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Keeping your mind focused on God He will keep you in perfect peace, not with your mind on the news and the things happening around you. Not on your disappointments, not on your failures, not on others faults.
When we are completely trusting in God, we will be at perfect peace.
We will stay joyful. Being in complete surrender and giving him full control of our lives.
Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. Psalms 31:24

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. Psalms 27:4
So that’s our desire to dwell in the house of the Lord.

Psalms 13: 5-6 5But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
6I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
That’s about rejoicing In God. So that’s like i mention in the last one about always thanking and praising the Lord because there is always something to thank and praise Him for. Like when i get up in the morning,’I'm like thank you lord thank you Lord. Nad just always pressing him for his goodness and faithfulness, and for who He is. Just rejoicing in GOd for all that He has done for us. There is so much, always something to praise Him about and parise Him for.
Psalms 29:11 11The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
So we will keep in perfect peace when we keep our minds on Him.

Conclude:
In every state I’m i've learned to be content.
It’s not that I have this all figured out and am always living this joy filled life, but I know it's possible and it's spiritual.
It’s not that we will always be walking on sunshine, but when we live out the 6 secrets of living a joy filled life then we can stay above the waters when the clouds do come, which they will. And when we have learned to be content in whatever state we are in.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content.KJV Philippians 4:11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. NIV
These things are not something you just do once, but something you do on a daily basis. A choice you make every day. To give thanks in all things in everything and every situation. Rejoice, forgive, seek first the kingdom of God, trust God, perfect trust. We have to let go. Its hard because we want to hold on, and we want to do things our way and in our time. Yes, but we are worried about this or we don’t know about that. We think He can’t possibly be in control of that or do that for us. God can’t take care of that.  We got to let God and let Him be in control. We  got to be in control and now we feel better, but we don’t want to be in control because we just take care of things like He does, we don’t know what's best. So we have to let go and let Him have control over every area of our lives. Then we can rest and be joyful because we know that everything will be ok, because He got it and is in perfect control and there are no accidents with God. Nothing takes Him by surprise.
The full surrender of our lives to Him, and completely trusting,  with a perfect trust, brings peace, comfort, and joy. You then can have a joyful heart and joy filled life regardless of what life brings your way.
There is no safe place to be. No stronger arms. He is our refuge, strong tower, our strength, our place of quite and peace, regardless of what is going on in our lives.

My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteous.
That your joy may be full. 1 John 1:4
Mark 4:7
( We got to focus on Godly concerns and not worldly concerns. Colossians 3:1-2, 1. Therefore, since you have been raised with Christ, strive for the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is youra life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
( For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:26 )
Nehemiah 8:10  Joy of the Lord is your strength
Proverbs 17:22 Merry heart doeth good like medicine

Sharing our faith with others - why do we sometimes find it so hard?

6/16/2021

We are all commissioned to share the gospel with others in some way, shape, or form.
But how do we that, and why does some find it easier than others?
In this video I answer those questions, and give encouragement to you to step out with courage and compassion to share your faith with others in various places and situations in your everyday living, doing, and going.
First it takes a heart for God, and a heart for our fellow man, caring about thier eternity later and thier lives right now.
Living without God is not a fun thing.
Could we emagine going through life as a wife and mother with the hope, peace, and wisdom of God in our lives?
Well those around us probably don't like it either and are not fairing too well. We got to care enough for them to share God with them and the hope we have.
We know we have something they need whether they know it or not and we need to care enough to share it with them. we never know who would be interested in God if they all knew.
If we only took the time to tell them. To connect with me please visit my website and blog.

Six steps to living a joy filled life even going through something difficult - parts 1& 2 - video post

5/17/2021

This is a repost from early spring 2019 when I first did these videos.
Recently I had been thinking of these 2 videos and how I wanted to turn them into a written blog post as well as a message I could use  for speaking purposes.
I decided to share them again here on my blog for whoever may not have seen them when they were first posted. This was in my early video making so the quality may not be as good, but the message is still great!!
So may you enjoy, and I do hope you would pass them to someone who could be blessed by these.
Welcome to parts one and two to living a joy-filled life!
How can you live joy-filled life when things are not always going smooth? If you your faced with great disappointments in life, or have gone through  tragedies and your life as been changed forever? Or when things are not going your way, when things don't happen the way you wanted, when you wanted and how you wanted?
In part one I cover the first 3 steps that I put together on living a joy-filled life. Learning to give thanks in all things, rejoicing constantly, and continuously forgiving.
In part 2 I cover the last 3 of the six steps to living a joy filled life: Dieing to self, Seeking first the Kingdom of God, and Trusting God.

part 2 - Faithful till the end - encouragement for times of tribulation and persecution

5/14/2021

Welcome to part two of remaining faithful till the end.
I In this one I continue reading in Mathew 24. From verses 21 - 31. I encourage you to read the full chapter. In this chapter Jesus speaks up the tribulation, turmoil, and persecution that will take place before His coming.
A common teaching out there says we will be raptured before the time of great tribulation.
But here in Matthew 24 it tells bus we will go through much tribulation in the end times before He comes in a great cloud and with the sound of a very loud trumpet in which everyone will see Him.
I did this video to help us be aware of what Jesus said will take place and what we can expect in the end which is getting closer and closer by the day.
When we are aware of what is to take place we will not be taken off guard when these things start coming to past and we can be built up and we'll established in the faith and ready to stand strong.
I want to encourage you to remain faithful, do the work the Lord has for us in these last times, and to trust and rest in the one who gives us peace.
We have nothing to fear when we are secure in Christ.
True love cast out fear.
And it says, He didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Take heart, and be of courage God is with you until the end.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Hey there and welcome to this week's video.
In this one I talk about stuff about the end times that's been on my mind and heart and what Jesus said about it in Mathew 24.
I read some of Mathew 24 in this video, but I encourage you to read it all.
this is not a deep study or end times prophecy at all.
But just covering some things that are suppose to happen in the end before Jesus returns to take His people Home.
What we are to expect, and what to look for.
I encourage us to remain faithful amd strong.
To be an encouragement and support to others, and get encouragement and support from fellow Christians. And to do the work God has for us until He does come.
And keeping in mind our end and the end of many may be sooner than the end when He comes.
So we need to be making the most of our days and times and reach out to others with the Hope and Love of Christ as we still can.
This is not a time to sit idle.
not a time to worry or fret at the news, but to get in Jesus Word and see what He says about His coming and what we are to be doing until the end.
Stand Strong. Memorize scripture.
Spread the Hope!

Part 2 - Getting our fulfillment in God, not church

5/9/2021

Welcome to part 2 of Getting our fulfillment and spiritual food from God, Not the Church.
In Jesus and with Jesus abiding in our hearts and lives, we can and always should feel spiritually full and alive.
If we feel spiritual dead it's not the churches fault. we need to check ourselves, do a heart check.
Are we still connected? How often do we think about God?
How often do read His Word? How often do we Pray? Memorize scripture?
Spiritual feeding happens on a daily basis right in our homes. We have a loving Heavenly Father who wants to come meet and dwell with us right in our homes on a daily, hourly, and minute basis. We are always in the presence of the Lord.
We can each come before Him individually, and know Him personally. Not through a priest or prophet as in old times.
But through a one on one conection with God. To connect with me or for more great resources please visit my website and blog.

Getting our fulfillment in God, not the church - part one

I did this video to talk address something that I feel is very important and lacking.
I talk about how our fulfillment needs to come from a life lived in Jesus and directly from God Himself, not from a church.
Often it seems much emphasis is put on the importance of church and how that is the place to go to hear about God and to get spiritual fed. We have to be careful that we don't put the church building in a place it was never meant to be in.
God wants each one of us to have a personal relationship and personal connection with Him.
We should be hearing and learning about God and connecting with God everyday in our homes, and throughout our day.
In Christ we should always feel spiritual fed and nourished. we don't have to depend on a church or a pastor to fill that in our lives, only a true and constant and individual connection with God can do that.

Believing before we see it! - video

Believing what we know even though we can’t see it
2 Corinthians 5:6-7
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.  For we live by faith, not by sight.

We are to live and walk by faith not by sight.
We've all heard the saying and probably said it ourselves many times, “ I'll believe it when I see it.”
Maybe that’s ok for just earthly things, but when it comes to God and the things God has promised us it doesn’t work like that.
We have to believe before we see it or we won't see it.
The story in the Bible about the Iserliite people is the perfect example of this. Beauce of their unbelief they were kept out of the promised land.
They didn't believe God had already been going  before them and had been their help and protection, would be with them again  conquer  the giants in the land.  Because of a lack of trust and unbelieve  they didn't see it. Numbers 14:11-45)
"For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.  But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
Hebrews 3:16‭-‬17 KJV
"And to whom swear he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?  So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
Hebrews 3:18‭-‬19 KJV
( see more notes below the video )

There are so many things that we have to believe and trust God for without seeing it.
And so many of the promises and blessings of God are only to those who believe.
It’s not just for everyone, but everyone to whom believes.
Salvation is to those who believe.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 KJV
God’s supernatural healing and protection to those who believe.
If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Mark 9:2
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
Luke 8:50

Blessed are those who believe without seeing.

John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

God’s promises are to those who believe.

Most of us don’t want to believe something until we see it. But the promises of God are almost never seen until we believe.
God wants us to believe Him, In Him what He says He will do without us having to see it first.

We need to have enough faith and believe In God enough that we can boldly say,
“I will believe it even if I don’t see it.”

The 3 young men that were thrown in the fiery furnace believed without a doubt that their God could deliver them from the furnace even if they didn't see it.  EVEN IF,  they weren't bowing down!!
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.  But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Daniel 3:17‭-‬18 KJV

The more we believe God for the more we will see.
What are you Believing God for? What is the miracle you are Believing God for?
How much are you Believing God for.
The more you believe the more you will see.
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Matthew 13:57‭-‬58 KJV
