Note Taking in the Night
If you are like me your best thinking momments are at night when you should be sound asleep. Am I right? It is like our minds work double time or somthing then. I guess during the day we are just too busy to think! And at night all is quiet and we are at rest , and now we can just lay there and think away! Things that come into my mind at night are things concerning the children, somthing that I should of or should not have said, something I forgot to do, phone calls I need to make, as well as Bible verses, or great inspirations for my blog. For the longest time when this happened I would just try my hardest to remmber it by morning. But more often than not when monirng came along I had forgotten. I knew there was some great things that I had thought of in the night, but for the life of me I could not think of what it was. Now finally I have started to take notes in the night when these differnt thoughts come to my mind. I keep a note paper and pen on the headboard by my pillow. When things come to my mind I just grab it and jot down some notes. No more forgetting by morning! I have found this to be very vauluable. So if you are like me and do most or even all of your great thinking during the night hours just get you a notebook and pen by your bed and you will be set! Now bring on those great thoughts! Just one helpful piece of advise though, make sure you can actaully read your notes afterwards, because wrting in the dark can be difficult! I do have a night light though that gives off some light, but still one time of note taking I was unable to read what I wrote. If any of your night thoughts are making you very concerned or worried about something, the night is the perfect time to bring those things to the Lord in prayer. Pray about it, and then rest knowing all will be taken care of. And by day things always seem to have a different light. So don't loose any sleep over the matter. In Him, Mae
