Growing your relationship in Jesus

6/13/2021

Growing in our relationship with Jesus is an on going process. It's something we do daily.
And we have to want God in our lives. And desire and seek after Him with all our being.
Our relationship with God does not grow without us doing our part. Seeking Him first. Making Him Lord of our life. Setting aside time to get in His word to read and study, memorize scripture, etc...
And establishing a consistent and daily prayer life. Making prayer a top priority in our lives. We have to be purposeful about guarding our hearts and minds making time and space for God in our lives to be fits place.

Six steps to living a joy filled life even going through something difficult - parts 1& 2 - video post

5/17/2021

This is a repost from early spring 2019 when I first did these videos.
Recently I had been thinking of these 2 videos and how I wanted to turn them into a written blog post as well as a message I could use  for speaking purposes.
I decided to share them again here on my blog for whoever may not have seen them when they were first posted. This was in my early video making so the quality may not be as good, but the message is still great!!
So may you enjoy, and I do hope you would pass them to someone who could be blessed by these.
Welcome to parts one and two to living a joy-filled life!
How can you live joy-filled life when things are not always going smooth? If you your faced with great disappointments in life, or have gone through  tragedies and your life as been changed forever? Or when things are not going your way, when things don't happen the way you wanted, when you wanted and how you wanted?
In part one I cover the first 3 steps that I put together on living a joy-filled life. Learning to give thanks in all things, rejoicing constantly, and continuously forgiving.
In part 2 I cover the last 3 of the six steps to living a joy filled life: Dieing to self, Seeking first the Kingdom of God, and Trusting God.

part 2 - Faithful till the end - encouragement for times of tribulation and persecution

5/14/2021

Welcome to part two of remaining faithful till the end.
I In this one I continue reading in Mathew 24. From verses 21 - 31. I encourage you to read the full chapter. In this chapter Jesus speaks up the tribulation, turmoil, and persecution that will take place before His coming.
A common teaching out there says we will be raptured before the time of great tribulation.
But here in Matthew 24 it tells bus we will go through much tribulation in the end times before He comes in a great cloud and with the sound of a very loud trumpet in which everyone will see Him.
I did this video to help us be aware of what Jesus said will take place and what we can expect in the end which is getting closer and closer by the day.
When we are aware of what is to take place we will not be taken off guard when these things start coming to past and we can be built up and we'll established in the faith and ready to stand strong.
I want to encourage you to remain faithful, do the work the Lord has for us in these last times, and to trust and rest in the one who gives us peace.
We have nothing to fear when we are secure in Christ.
True love cast out fear.
And it says, He didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Take heart, and be of courage God is with you until the end.
He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Staying faithful and strong to the end.

5/13/2021

Hey there and welcome to this week's video.
In this one I talk about stuff about the end times that's been on my mind and heart and what Jesus said about it in Mathew 24.
I read some of Mathew 24 in this video, but I encourage you to read it all.
this is not a deep study or end times prophecy at all.
But just covering some things that are suppose to happen in the end before Jesus returns to take His people Home.
What we are to expect, and what to look for.
I encourage us to remain faithful amd strong.
To be an encouragement and support to others, and get encouragement and support from fellow Christians. And to do the work God has for us until He does come.
And keeping in mind our end and the end of many may be sooner than the end when He comes.
So we need to be making the most of our days and times and reach out to others with the Hope and Love of Christ as we still can.
This is not a time to sit idle.
not a time to worry or fret at the news, but to get in Jesus Word and see what He says about His coming and what we are to be doing until the end.
Stand Strong. Memorize scripture.
Spread the Hope!

Part 2 - Getting our fulfillment in God, not church

5/9/2021

Welcome to part 2 of Getting our fulfillment and spiritual food from God, Not the Church.
In Jesus and with Jesus abiding in our hearts and lives, we can and always should feel spiritually full and alive.
If we feel spiritual dead it's not the churches fault. we need to check ourselves, do a heart check.
Are we still connected? How often do we think about God?
How often do read His Word? How often do we Pray? Memorize scripture?
Spiritual feeding happens on a daily basis right in our homes. We have a loving Heavenly Father who wants to come meet and dwell with us right in our homes on a daily, hourly, and minute basis. We are always in the presence of the Lord.
We can each come before Him individually, and know Him personally. Not through a priest or prophet as in old times.
But through a one on one conection with God. To connect with me or for more great resources please visit my website and blog.

Getting our fulfillment in God, not the church - part one

5/2/2021

I did this video to talk address something that I feel is very important and lacking.
I talk about how our fulfillment needs to come from a life lived in Jesus and directly from God Himself, not from a church.
Often it seems much emphasis is put on the importance of church and how that is the place to go to hear about God and to get spiritual fed. We have to be careful that we don't put the church building in a place it was never meant to be in.
God wants each one of us to have a personal relationship and personal connection with Him.
We should be hearing and learning about God and connecting with God everyday in our homes, and throughout our day.
In Christ we should always feel spiritual fed and nourished. we don't have to depend on a church or a pastor to fill that in our lives, only a true and constant and individual connection with God can do that.

Believing before we see it! - video

4/11/2021

Believing what we know even though we can’t see it
2 Corinthians 5:6-7
Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.  For we live by faith, not by sight.

We are to live and walk by faith not by sight.
We've all heard the saying and probably said it ourselves many times, “ I'll believe it when I see it.”
Maybe that’s ok for just earthly things, but when it comes to God and the things God has promised us it doesn’t work like that.
We have to believe before we see it or we won't see it.
The story in the Bible about the Iserliite people is the perfect example of this. Beauce of their unbelief they were kept out of the promised land.
They didn't believe God had already been going  before them and had been their help and protection, would be with them again  conquer  the giants in the land.  Because of a lack of trust and unbelieve  they didn't see it. Numbers 14:11-45)
"For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.  But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
Hebrews 3:16‭-‬17 KJV
"And to whom swear he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?  So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
Hebrews 3:18‭-‬19 KJV
( see more notes below the video )

There are so many things that we have to believe and trust God for without seeing it.
And so many of the promises and blessings of God are only to those who believe.
It’s not just for everyone, but everyone to whom believes.
Salvation is to those who believe.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9‭-‬10 KJV
God’s supernatural healing and protection to those who believe.
If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Mark 9:2
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”
Luke 8:50

Blessed are those who believe without seeing.

John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

God’s promises are to those who believe.

Most of us don’t want to believe something until we see it. But the promises of God are almost never seen until we believe.
God wants us to believe Him, In Him what He says He will do without us having to see it first.

We need to have enough faith and believe In God enough that we can boldly say,
“I will believe it even if I don’t see it.”

The 3 young men that were thrown in the fiery furnace believed without a doubt that their God could deliver them from the furnace even if they didn't see it.  EVEN IF,  they weren't bowing down!!
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.  But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Daniel 3:17‭-‬18 KJV

The more we believe God for the more we will see.
What are you Believing God for? What is the miracle you are Believing God for?
How much are you Believing God for.
The more you believe the more you will see.
And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Matthew 13:57‭-‬58 KJV

Things Satan Wants to Steal from us - video

4/11/2021

You bet Satan wants to steal something from you.
He comes to seek, kill, and destroy.
Everything that God has promised to us Satan wants to take away from us.
In this video I talk about the things and areas in our live that Satan wants to attack and take from us if we allow it.
So i encourage you to know what you are promised by God and stand up and stand strong for what belongs to you in Christ.
Yes, we have an enemy and he is seeking whom he may devour. But Christ has came to give us life and life abundantly.
And satan gets no more ground than what we give in to or give Him.
For greater is in us than he that's in the World.
So stand fast in the Lord. No weapon of the enemy will prosper. Amen!

Part 2 - Believing what we know about God and loving every part of God - video

3/28/2021

Do we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, might, and strength?
You accept Him as savior, but do you accept Him as the Lord of your life?
We can love parts of God. For instance we can love HIs salvation plan. Which probably this is one of the easiest things to love about God. Because what’s not to love about the salvation plan?
Forgiveness for our sins by the blood of Jesus, which gives us the gift of salvation and the hope and promise of eternal life with God one day in heaven. That’s pretty amazing isn't it!?. And very easy to love that part of God for sure.
But there’s more. There’s loving His laws and keeping His commandments. And allowing Him to be in charge and in control of our lives.
 But all this ties together.
There is different parts to God yes, but we don’t get the one part without the other. It’s all or none. It all comes together. If we don't make him both our savior and our Lord and desire everything about Him then we don’t have any of it.
To easily we accept Him as our savior, but don’t make Him the Lord of our lives. We can accept Him as our Savior and at the same time reject Him as Lord. No, we don’t do that intentionally, and often we don’t do that in word, no, with our lips we worship Him, but with our lives we dishonor and reject Him and His say in our lives.

Mathew 15:8 New International Version "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

Isaiah 29:13 King James Bible Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Mathew 15: 7-9 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said: 8 ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; 9 in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”

Part 1 - Believing and living out what we know about God- video

3/28/2021

Do you believe what you know? Like really believe? So that it changes the way you live?
You may know a lot about God, but do you believe that with all your heart and do you believe that for yourself?
Do you believe that God has his best in mind for you? You. We can believe it for our friend, our neighbor, our sister, and other successful people we look up to, but not for us. You can hope again, believe again, trust again. There is nothing to broken He can't fix. There's still hope. It’s not what you know, it’s not even what you say, it’s how you live life. If you don't believe it you won't be living your life that way. As the saying goes, “ Actions speak louder than words.” Is our lives matching what we are saying? Are we talking the talk and walking the walk - living the life?
Look for part 2 of this little series.

My dream about dead sheep ( short version ) - it's time for the churches to wake up

3/28/2021

(This is the shorter version about my dream, I shared the longer version in an earlier post. )
A couple months ago I had this dream about dead sheep and I felt I really needed to share it with others so they can glean from it what God has for them.

I really feel the dead sheep represented lukewarm Christians.
And the building in the dream very likely represents the churches.
Also it's very significant that the sheep went off and left their lambs by themselves.
I pray that this dream will challenge you to grow and change in all the ways God intended for you.
It's time for for Christians to wake up!!

 Hey everyone!
A couple months ago I had this dream about dead sheep and I felt I really needed to share it with others so they can glean from it what God has for them.
I really feel the dead sheep represented lukewarm Christians. And the building in the dream very likely represents the churches. That sad truth is that many churches are filled with some "dead sheep".
It's time for for Christians to wake up!! To get out of the lukewarmness and go all in and all out for God.
I pray you get from this dream and message everything that God has for you.
If you have any thoughts or comments on this video I would love to hear from you.

The Powerful Word! :: Message by Mae Renfroe - video

2/28/2021

  Hey Everyone!
Here is my message I gave in the park in our community this weekend.
May this Word encourage and inspire you to go deeper in your walk with God so you can experience all that He has for you. So you can live a full live here on earth for God and have the hope of heaven one day when He returns to take His people Home.
This world is not our true home, this earth will pass away, we are just passing through. And if we don't have God in our lives now we won't have God or the hope of heaven later. If it's not God we want now, It's not God we will have later.
So may you be inspired and empowered in your walk with God.
And may you in turn be a light to others so they too may have this same hope in Jesus. We can't keep it to ourselves.
   In Him, Mae
P.S.  If you would like me to share this same message in your church or community, like a park such as this one, or a community hall, just let me know. I would love to come share. Please see my speaking page or use the contact box.
I'm also very eager to have opportunities to share my complete story of loss and a message hope and encouragement I have put together to encourage those going through hard things or difficult season in life.

My heart & passion for my ministry- video post

2/28/2021

Hey there, just did this video to share my heart and passion for my ministry and what it is I feel God has placed on my heart and called me to along with my role as wife and mother.
My ministry outside the home is just an overflowing of my ministry inside the home.

Yes, mothers, we are in the ministry right in our homes too, as we mother and nurture these little ones and big ones. As we home-school or don't, or as we are cooking and cleaning, and training and diapering, etc....  It's ministry for sure.
So what i share in this video is the overflow of what I do here in the home. I have a heart to draw other women like you closer to the heart of God to walk with Him daily, and so that you too can impart Him to your children. And have that heart to heart relationship with God and have your  lives and homes flourishing with the things of God.
May you enjoy this video. May it encourage you.
And if I can be a help to you or offer you any other resources that will inspire in your walk with God and in your mothering please
connect with me.

So may this be a help to you in your down and overwhelmed days. Knowing that there is better days ahead. And that we have our Heavenly father watching over us and singing over us. And is fighting for us. And gives us the strength and wisdom for parenting if we just ask.

How do we become more Kingdom focused and less on less on the things of this world? - video post

2/14/2021

Let's talk about how we can be more kingdom-focused and less focused on the things of this world.
I read the verses below and talk about how we can lives these out more. It's so easy to get caught up in the everyday things and the things that seem normal in our society and in raising a family. But is this really living out God's complete will and desire for His people? Does He expect more out of us?
So how to we live differently than the world with more time and energy to do the things that God really wants us to be doing with our time here on earth.

In Him, Mae
Hebrews 13:14
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
  Galatians
2:19-21 19
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live untoo GOD0. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me,and gave himself for me.
 Mathew 6: 25- 34
Terefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Mathew

#3 A closer walk with Jesus - being doers of the word, & making God's voice in our lives the loudest - video post

1/31/2021

Continuing in our closer walk with Jesus series I talk more about what it really means to follow Jesus.
And that how, even though we say we are following Jesus, if we are not careful we can end up allowing other voices in our lives to have the greatest say.
So in reality we actually are following others instead of God, and God alone. He has to be the loudest voice in our lives. We can't be allowing what other people say or think to dictate what we do when it goes against what God has placed on our hearts to do.
I talk about my upcoming gospel meeting in the park and about my anticipation of what God is going to do there! The word of God is powerful. The word never changes, yet it changes everything! it's life-giving, life-transforming, and brings hope and healing.
If you haven't already I recommend you watching my first 2 videos in this series, A Closer walk with Jesus. as well as the video, Putting off the Old Man, it is along the same lines.
