God's amazing love - Week 5 video post

1/30/2019

Welcome to week 5 of my video blog posts!
So happy we are 5 weeks into this new year, and I managed to keep up with every video so far. Praise the Lord! I love doing these, and I am so glad I committed myself to do this.
I have been wanting to do something regular for sometime, but kept putting it off. And it just seemed so hard for me to actually do something like this. But once I made up my mind that I would, I find it easy. So I encourage you to do the same. Is there something on your heart you have been wanting and waiting to do? Sometimes we have to stop holding back  waiting for that perfect moment, and just do it!
In Him, Mae
In this video I talk about God's amazing love. Be encouraged and blessed!

Mae's newest book - As For Me & My House Volume 2

So happy to announce my newest book release here!
As For me and My House, Volume 2
Unfortunately it does come slightly imperfect. The front cover title of the book is a little hard to see.
As well as few typo errors inside. So I may yet get those fixed and upload it again to the global network.
But otherwise it's ready for you to read, enjoy, and be inspired and encouraged --from my home to yours! I am confident you will be blessed!

Being diligent & patient in prayer -  2 video blog posts week 4

1/24/2019

  Hi Ladies,
Welcome to week four video blog posts. I am coming with 2 for you this week!
 So exciting!
I had so much on my mind that I ended up with not one, but two videos!
( Underneath the videos you little find a brief discription of both. )
So enjoy, and may you be blessed, inspired, and challanged as you walk with God!
In Him, Mae

I did this video first, and it really needs to be watched in that order. In this one I am talking about the 4th commandent, the Seventh Day Sabbath.
I had lots on my mind to share and had not even ment to do a video on this subject, but it was so heavey on my mind and heart that I just had too.
May it speak to you in a way you never heard this subject talked about before. And may your heart be open to every truth of God.
After doing the first video and getting that message off my chest, I desiced to go ahead and do this one too.
In this video I encourage others to stay diligent and patient in prayer. I speak of the need to be very fervent in our prayers, and then patiently wait for God to answer - His way, His will, and His timing. Because thast's what we really want isn't it? As Proverbs say, a man devisieth His ways, but God directs His path.

Spending quality time with your children

Welcome to week 3 blog post video!
In this one I am talking about and encouraging mothers ( but not only mothers ) in spending quality time with their children. I know as a stay-at-home mom, we are at home with them all day. But from my past experiences we sometimes have to put out a special effort to really connect with our children in a purposeful and meaningful way.  In this video you will hear my heart on the matter, and little ways you can connect with your children.
Below is a poem I just wrote after I made this video. I was laying a awake that night about 3:00 a.m., and thinking of a creative way to share about how we have to be very careful of social media, and gadgets that can steal our time from our precious children. I prayed for ideas for a poem. And then these lines started coming to my mind. So I quickly got up, and went out to the kitchen to write it down on scrap paper. Then the next morning I turned it into this image here. Hope you enjoy!
I may have been a little crude with the wording. But if those things get out of hand, they sure can steal our time, and how annoying is that it!
 Be blessed and inspired!

I am very excited to share here with you all, an article  written by Talena Winters, a fellow author & blogger, as well as a mom who has also experienced the loss of a child as I have.
This article is of our loss of our 14 year-old son, and about  drawing closer to God in our difficult time. And with His strength and peace how we are walking this new road in victory.
I pray this will be a blessing an encouragement to any one who reads it.
If you are walking this difficult path too, and would like to have someone to talk to and help you as navigate the stages of grief, and find new joy and purpose in life again. Please feel free to contact me. This is what I am here for.
May you be blessed!

New Year 2o19-Video Post

1/3/2019

 Hi to all of you!
I am excited about something. I have decided to start weekly video blog posts. Yep, weekly!! So here is to hoping I can actually keep that up every week. It won't be the same day every week, but just when I am able to do that. I am really looking forward  to doing this, and I thought there is no better time to start than on  first of the new year.
So here is my first one! May you enjoy!
I have been wanting to do something structured like this for some time, but just never committed my self to do it. But now is the time. Sometimes you just have to jump in and do things if you want it done!
So if you have been holding back on something you have wanted to do, or have had it just setting on the back burner for way too long. Why don't you just jump in and go for it like I have, and things will all fall in place. If it is God's will, there is way!
  Well may you be blessed!

Starting 2019 strong

As we are about to start off this new year, I have been reflecting back over this past year and about how much we have to be thankful for. Wow, so much. So many things, in so many different areas, and in so many little details of our lives. It’s amazing to see God work in our lives. His goodness and faithfulness. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! Praise the Lord!
Just one of the many things I am very thankful for is the volume 2 book of, As For Me and My House.  I am thankful that it is finally finished, and will soon be ready and available for purchase. It takes a lot of effort and time to do the self-publishing as I do. But I am thankful for that too. Self-publishing  has been the only option for me in getting my books out there for you.
I pray this book will be a blessing and an encouragement to my readers. That the messages held in it will inspire and challenge, as you walk with the Lord and raise your children for Him. As a mother, you have one of the greatest roles there is. Never underestimate the impact you will make on their lives for eternity. This is your destiny, and you are made for this.

As you step in to this  new year, I pray that you will be inspired to be and do all that God has for you. That you will be bold, courageous, and confident in Christ. And that you will know without a doubt who you are in Him. You are a daughter of the King, set apart for His use, a new creation, loved, accepted, forgiven, no longer a slave to sin, and an ambassador for Christ. May this shine forth brightly in all you do, and everywhere you go! Because you are special, you have Christ dwelling in you!
I also want to encourage you, if you a feel God’s calling on your life in a certain direction, I hope you step into this calling with boldness and confidence. If you have this burning passion in you that you just can’t get out of your head and heart, then I hope you pursue after it. And don’t let fear stop you from doing it, and achieving it.
Joshua 1:9 (KJV)
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

If you have a God-given dream, then go for it. And know He will not call you to something without giving you what you need to accomplish it. We read what Jesus did with his disciples in Mark chapter 6; He called them, He equipped them, and He sent them. He is doing that for you and I too. So let’s step into what He has for us and that desire that He has placed in our hearts, with all courage.
Let’s make this new year a year of change, a year of more, a year of boldness, a year of courage, a year of transformation, and year that we fulfill your dreams.
If God gave you the dream, He will make it possible! Just keep dreaming, keep believing, and keep trusting!
May you stay humble, stay focused, and stay blessed!
Wishing you all the best in this new year!
In Him, Mae
