#5 Hope from the Cemetery video - Giving thanks when we are going through storms and trials in life

Hey there, I'm so glad you stopped by!
And Welcome to another video from my Hope From the Cemetery series. This week I talk about finding things to be thankful for in the midst of life's storms and struggles, and how powerful giving thanks can be.

  In this video, I read some scripture about how God has instructed us to give thanks in everything. And just how powerful and healing that can be when we are going through tragedies.
  We have to take our focus off our problems and put our focus on our heavenly Father and in His goodness and faithfulness. And in doing so we will be at perfect peace. And we will have joy and true happiness that is not based on our circumstances. We have to look more on what we still have and not what we have lost due to our tragedies.

We have to make God first in our lives invite Him to be the Lord of our lives in all areas to set an example for our children.
When we surrender fully to God then He makes the changes in us that need to be made.

#4 In the garden with Mae summer 2020 video series

Welcome to the 4th in the series of my summer 2020 garden videos.
In this one I talk about our peas setting on, show how everything is growing so good and fast.
And I talk about the root worm problem that's attacking and killing my cabbage plants. it's really annoying how they attack the roots like that and have the plant ruined before I even suspect a thing .
For my spiritual part of my garden videos I talk about how Satan comes to seek, kill, and destroy. He uses all kinds of sneaky tactics like that to attack us, and if possible to tear down our very root system that's in Jesus. So be aware of your enemy and stay in the Word and in prayer. And God will keep you strong!

Be that mom - it's a new season on my podcast!

I'm so excited to announce our new and exciting season in our podcast. As well as our new podcast name, and how it all came about.
As new parents, our early years of parenting were not ideal, but I love how God can turn things around and bring something beautiful out of our messes and failures.
Come along join me this new season of the podcast as we together ( yes, you & I ) grow closer to God and become that mom that God wants us to be.
In this episode, I refer to these 2 verses.
~ Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48 ~
No, we are not perfect and I don't think ever will be here on earth, but when we truly love God we seek after Him and His ways in our life with all of our being we become more like Him day by day. And our lives reflect Him in the things we do, the things we say, and the way we parent our children.
We just have to stay hungry & thirsty for more of God in our lives, stay open and teachable, and He will do His good and perfect work in our lives which only He can do, and in turn we will bear much fruit.
And be a mother after God's own heart.

# 3 Hope from the cemetery series - God can use even bad things for His glory

Welcome to my # 3rd in the Hope from the Cemetery with Mae, summer 2020 series.
In this one I talk about the story of Joseph in the Bible and how, despite the fact, that many things were going against him for so long, it was all part of the plan and purpose that God had on his life. it's a beautiful story.
And I believe God is using our tragedies in the same way. He is working out something beautiful.
Just keep trusting, keep praying, keep praising, and keep believing. He is working it out!!
