When life gets to hard to stand kneel - # 2 Hope from the cemetery series summer 2020

Welcome to my second video of the Hope From Cemetery series!
In my last video I mentioned that when we are rooted and grounded in Jesus that we can stand strong when hard things come our way in life.
In this video I talk about when life gives you more than you can  stand kneel. But i'm not saying that only when life is hard is when we hit our knees. No, we need to be leading prayerful lives all the time. Praying without ceasing as Thessalonians 5 says.
But sometimes in this broken world we live in life gives us things that really rock our world. And it can makes go before our Father more than ever. And that's good.
Kneel before the one  who is holding you. Kneel before the one that is holding your today and holding your tomorrow. Kneel before the one who said He would never leave you nor forsake you. He is waiting for you with open arms!
May you be blessed and encouraged with this video. Stay tuned for more and please share with anyone that would be blessed too.

Welcome to the first of my Hope From the Cemetery video summer 2020 series.  ( YouTube video below )
I'm so excited about doing this series! And I hope you are as excited as I am!
I look forward to you joining me as we journey together through this series this summer. We will be getting into scripture and getting to know & understand more fully the heart of God. And grow closer & have an intimate relationship with  the One who sustains and carries  through and is with us in our every storm. He said He would  never leave us nor forsake us.
He is with us and for us no matter what comes our way, whether it be loss or some other sorrow and suffering. God is right there too in the middle of it. And He has a plan & a purpose to put to use what you have gone through. There is hope. And there is a better tomorrow.

Here on my website and blog you can find lost more resources for support and encouragement in loss.

The art of not doing everything - video & podcast

6/12/2020

Are you a busy mother and feel like you have more than you can keep up? You're not alone. As a homeschooling mother of nine I'm right there with you.
But here is some good news, relax. You don't have to do it all.
Sometimes the best thing we can do as mothers is simply let some things go. Just don't do it.
When we try to always keep a perfectly weeded garden, perfectly clean house, the laundry always caught up, and amazing meals on the table we run our selves ragged.
We got to learn the art of just leaving stuff for another day and focus on what is more important at the moment which might just be sitting down and reading books with our children.
Too often we moms we try to do more than God ever intended us to do.
I hope & pray this has been a blessing and encouraging to you as you mother your children and keep a busy household.
In Him, Mae
Be sure and stayed tuned for more great future weekly podcast & YouTube videos.

The Light of the World - podcast

6/2/2020

The Bible refers to us as being a light of the world. Sarah gives us some thoughts of hers on this by giving us an example of a night light in her room. We need to be a bright light in our part of the world. And we need to be filling this world with more of God's light and God goodness. We as Christ's children need to be working together to fill the world with godly content so there is more and more light to brighten the darkness and bring more people to God.

Weeding out the weeds in our homes - podcast episode

6/2/2020

Welcome to this week's podcast episode!
Join me as i share with you the inspiration I got while weeding in my garden!
As a mother we have a ongoing job of weeding out weeds in our homes and in our children. Diligently keep an outlook for weeds and plucking them out much like the job of weeding out gardens so they can bear fruit and flourish, but this job is much more important than weeding our garden.
 Keep up the great work!

Talking about forgiveness- video blog post

6/2/2020

Hey there and welcome to this week's video! ( Well there will be 2 videos I'm sharing this week because I did the video last week but didn't share it here. )
In this video I'm talking about forgiveness -- God's forgiveness to us and our forgiveness to others.
Forgiveness is vital in our walk and  relationship with God, and for salvation. God says He will not forgive us our sins if we don't forgive others there trespasses against us.
I give 2 perfect examples of forgiveness in the Bible as well as the amazing story of forgiveness of Corrie ten Boon.
May you be blessed and encouraged as you realized what exactly it is Christ did for you and I on the cross and the great depth of love that that required.  And may you and I forgive like He did no matter how hard it may be.
In Him, Mae  ( P.S. as always I love hearing from you! )
Here is the link to the article where I read the story of Corrie ten Boon.
Guideposts Classics: Corrie ten Boom on ForgivenessIn this story from November 1972, the author of The Hiding Place recalls forgiving a guard at the concentration camp where her sister died.
