Do we love God with all our heart,soul, mind, might, and strength? You accept Him as savior, but do you accept Him as the Lord of your life? We can love parts of God. For instance we can love HIs salvation plan. Which probably this is one of the easiest things to love about God. Because what’s not to love about the salvation plan? Forgiveness for our sins by the blood of Jesus, which gives us the gift of salvation and the hope and promise of eternal life with God one day in heaven. That’s pretty amazing isn't it!?. And very easy to love that part of God for sure. But there’s more. There’s loving His laws and keeping His commandments. And allowing Him to be in charge and in control of our lives. But all this ties together. There is different parts to God yes, but we don’t get the one part without the other. It’s all or none. It all comes together. If we don't make him both our savior and our Lord and desire everything about Him then we don’t have any of it. To easily we accept Him as our savior, but don’t make Him the Lord of our lives. We can accept Him as our Savior and at the same time reject Him as Lord. No, we don’t do that intentionally, and often we don’t do that in word, no, with our lips we worship Him, but with our lives we dishonor and reject Him and His say in our lives. Do you believe what you know? Like really believe? So that it changes the way you live? You may know a lot about God, but do you believe that with all your heart and do you believe that for yourself? Do you believe that God has his best in mind for you? You. We can believe it for our friend, our neighbor, our sister, and other successful people we look up to, but not for us. You can hope again, believe again, trust again. There is nothing to broken He can't fix. There's still hope. It’s not what you know, it’s not even what you say, it’s how you live life. If you don't believe it you won't be living your life that way. As the saying goes, “ Actions speak louder than words.” Is our lives matching what we are saying? Are we talking the talk and walking the walk - living the life? Look for part 2 of this little series. I really feel the dead sheep represented lukewarm Christians. And the building in the dream very likely represents the churches. Also it's very significant that the sheep went off and left their lambs by themselves. I pray that this dream will challenge you to grow and change in all the ways God intended for you. Hey there, just did this video to share my heart and passion for my ministry and what it is I feel God has placed on my heart and called me to along with my role as wife and mother. My ministry outside the home is just an overflowing of my ministry inside the home. Yes, mothers, we are in the ministry right in our homes too, as we mother and nurture these little ones and big ones. As we home-school or don't, or as we are cooking and cleaning, and training and diapering, etc.... It's ministry for sure. So what i share in this video is the overflow of what I do here in the home. I have a heart to draw other women like you closer to the heart of God to walk with Him daily, and so that you too can impart Him to your children. And have that heart to heart relationship with God and have your lives and homes flourishing with the things of God. May you enjoy this video. May it encourage you. I read the verses below and talk about how we can lives these out more. It's so easy to get caught up in the everyday things and the things that seem normal in our society and in raising a family. But is this really living out God's complete will and desire for His people? Does He expect more out of us? So how to we live differently than the world with more time and energy to do the things that God really wants us to be doing with our time here on earth. And that how, even though we say we are following Jesus, if we are not careful we can end up allowing other voices in our lives to have the greatest say. So in reality we actually are following others instead of God, and God alone. He has to be the loudest voice in our lives. We can't be allowing what other people say or think to dictate what we do when it goes against what God has placed on our hearts to do. I talk about my upcoming gospel meeting in the park and about my anticipation of what God is going to do there! The word of God is powerful. The word never changes, yet it changes everything! it's life-giving, life-transforming, and brings hope and healing. Matthew 16:25 King James Version 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. There is power in the Word! The Word changes and transforms lives. Sets people free. The word is full of life and power and brings life and hope. We are to mediate day and night on the Word. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 2 Timothy 3: 16-17, 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32 It's time to for prep and Prayer. And put on the whole armor of God as it tell us in Ephesians 6:10-18. Being shod with the armor of God we can stand in the evil day, and stand against the fiery darts of the enemy. This is not time to be lax, but diligent and fervent in prayer. Time to keep in the Word, constant in prayer, and encouraging one another with scripture. we can stand on His Word because God stands behind His Word. His Word does not go out void, but it accomplishes what He intended. So prep, pray, and stand strong!! God is with you, and will keep your hearts and minds, and will keep you in perfect peace.
