Do we love God with all our heart, soul, mind, might, and strength? You accept Him as savior, but do you accept Him as the Lord of your life? We can love parts of God. For instance we can love HIs salvation plan. Which probably this is one of the easiest things to love about God. Because what’s not to love about the salvation plan? Forgiveness for our sins by the blood of Jesus, which gives us the gift of salvation and the hope and promise of eternal life with God one day in heaven. That’s pretty amazing isn't it!?. And very easy to love that part of God for sure. But there’s more. There’s loving His laws and keeping His commandments. And allowing Him to be in charge and in control of our lives. But all this ties together. There is different parts to God yes, but we don’t get the one part without the other. It’s all or none. It all comes together. If we don't make him both our savior and our Lord and desire everything about Him then we don’t have any of it. To easily we accept Him as our savior, but don’t make Him the Lord of our lives. We can accept Him as our Savior and at the same time reject Him as Lord. No, we don’t do that intentionally, and often we don’t do that in word, no, with our lips we worship Him, but with our lives we dishonor and reject Him and His say in our lives. In Him, mae Renfroe www.maerenfroe.com Mathew 15:8 New International Version "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Isaiah 29:13 King James Bible Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Mathew 15: 7-9 7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, when he said: 8 ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; 9 in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
