Isn't that so amazing! God loves us right where we are. Regardless of what you've been through, what your past make look like, how cheap or used you may feel, and no matter what ugly and deep sins has been committed God still loves you. There is nothing too great you have done that He will not forgive. God is saying daughter, "I love you just the way you are, come onto me and I will give you a clean and fresh start. I will make you brand-new from the inside out!" We don't have to change for Him to love us. He loves us so much the way we are that He doesn't want us to stay that way. It is after we give our lives to Him that He begins the change in us to make us more like himself. In Him we become a brand-new person and a new creation. The brand-new person does not come first and then God loves. No, God loves us first. 1 John 4:19( KJV) "We love him, because he first loved us." Romans 5:8 (KJV) "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In the book of John we read the beautiful story of the woman caught in adultery and of Jesus forgiveness. Her accusers, the scribes and pharisees, wanted her stoned as was the custom then. But Jesus simply said," Go, and sin no more." John 8:1-11 (KJV) 1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. You can also read another amazing story of Jesus's love and forgiveness to a woman in Luke 7:36-50. What a loving God we have. Be comforted with these verses knowing there is nothing that can separate you from God's love. Romans 8:37 ( NIV ) No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
