This week the children and I took a much needed spring break. But I didn't want it to be just a wasted week. I wanted them to continue their learning and also find creative or productive things to do. So one of the things we are doing in the mornings is thinking together of things they would like to see how they are made. Then we look them up on YouTube and watch them on our big screen. It's very interesting and educational to see how things are made on a huge scale and in massive quantities in the factories. YouTube can really add to your education plan for your children's school and make it work for you in a good and positive way. But be careful of the junk there as well. There's a mainstream Christianity that isn't built on the truth of God's word. Jesus warned us of false prophets, false doctrine, and lying wonders Satan would be doing to deceive as many as possible, and especially in the last days. How alert we must be and constant in the Word of God. Please read Matthew 7: 21-23, Matthew 24, and 2 Thessalonians 2. Dear friends, I know many of you have been following along with me on our family's journey since the loss of our son, Clayton, in 2017. You have seen as I've been given encouragement and inspiration through Facebook, here on my website & blog, and my YouTube channel of what God has been doing in our lives, and the hope that has kept us going. Hey there! This week's video I'm wanting to encourage us to know the days and times we are living in. To be alert and on guard of what is going on in the world. So that we are not deceived. And so, we can be living the way we should be in these last days. And to be found faithful and ready for the coming of the Lord. I'm sharing things you probably been seeing on Facebook a lot. And it's just what's dominating our world right now. But may we be not consumed with this stuff, or held in fear, but rather looking to God who is our hope, our salvation, our redeemer, provider and protector. Be not deceived. Don't fall for this world's schemes. It's all in preparation of what is to come, the mark of the beast, etc... Get in the Word. Get in prayer. Hey you all, It's been a long while since I have been able to post on blog. The only things I really had been posting was just my YouTube videos, and now here of late I haven't even been able to manage that. Life has been busy. Here is what's been going on in my life. Homeschooling. Housekeeping. Working on my book. Organizing and packing for our trip to Texas. Then our trip to Texas. Unpacking. Back to schooling. Back to working on my book. Schooling. Book editing. Schooling. More book editing. That's been my life. But good news! My book is nearly ready for uploading to the global network! Holding on to Hope - A family's story of loss and the hope that keeps them going. Yes, almost ready!!! And I can't wait for it to go out and bless those God has attended for it to.
