Hey there! Here is the second video in this little series I'm currently doing. I think I will call it the Desiring Truth Series. In this one I talk about the 10 commandments and the two common believes that I have came across. Either people tend to believe the 10 commandments are done away with and are no longer for us today, or that they are for us, but that the 4th commandment has been changed. So come along and join me as dig into scripture to reveal that the commandments were not destroyed and are very much for us yet today - all 10 of them! And if you enjoy this please pass it along. I want this very important and much overlooked truth to get out to as many as possible. In Him, Mae p.s Stayed tuned for the for my next video in the Desiring Truth series on Sabbath coming out soon. Below is the verses I either read on the video or referred to. Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Deuteronomy 30: 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 2:3-6 KJV The 10 commandments are not destroyed Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:17-22 KJV “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:9-14 NIV “If you love me, keep my commands. John 14:15 NIV But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:34-40 KJV Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:12-13 KJV 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:4-5 Broke the everlasting covenant. The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. Isaiah 24:4-6 KJV Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; Deuteronomy 11:18-22 KJV If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Deuteronomy 30:10 KJV And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

Welcome to this week's video and the introduction to my series on the Sabbath, the 10 commandments, and the resurrection. I'll call it my Desiring Truth series I love this verse here. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. John 14:15-17 KJV I pray that you will have a desire and heart for the truth. I and pray this will nudge you to dig deeper into the Bible and into God's wonderful truth. Stay tuned for the upcoming videos on these topics and in the meantime, I encourage you to start doing your own searching on this. God says His spirit will lead us into all truth. In Him, Mae Renfroe
Fellow moms, God desires and longs to have a relationship with each one of us personally. And when we Draw close to God He will draw close to us.
Come along and join me on this episode of the podcast as I dig into scripture about seeking God and how we can have a closer and more intimate relationship with Him and how we can hear from Him. Please enjoy this episode of my podcast. May you be blessed and encouraged! In Him, Mae ( below is my notes and scripture that I used in this episode. )
Want to Hear from God?
Talk to God and He will speak to you. The Bible tells us to draw nigh to God and he will draw near to us. In James 4: 7-9 7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. James 4: 7-9 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as [a]have a contrite spirit. Psalms 34:18 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 .Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalms 46: 10-11 KJV Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 KJV What we feed on the majority of the time is what will have the most impact and effect on us. Out of the issues the heart the mouth speaketh. Luke 6 :45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good, and an evil man out of the evil [a]treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45 Our time in the Word is very important, but we have to be careful what we put in our minds the rest of our time because it’s the other stuff that will have more effect on us. God wants to speak to us, but he can’t if we are listing to other stuff. When we are dwelling on the things of the world we can’t hear Him. We just can't or we won't, because we listening to other voices and not taking heed to what His Word has told us. What is true about Him and what is true about us. We end up believing the lies of satan. If we allow that than to be louder in our lives than the truth that we know. We got to get rid of all the other voices so we can hear His voice. The things we hear between morning and night need to be life-giving, Christian music, podcats, etc…. The more we seek God and the things of God the more we are filled by Him, and in tune with Him. Matthew 5:6, Mathew 7:7-8 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 KJv Are we hungry and thirsty after God and righteousness? Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 KJV As I've often told my husband we can have as close a relationship with God as we want. We can either keep Him at arm's length or in His arms. It's really up to us and how much we are willing to surrender and invest in the relationship. Do we just want to have God when we get in a difficult time or do we want an ongoing communication with Him. Do we want Him to be the Lord of our lives? Do we want Him to fill every part of our lives and our every day. The closer relationship the more spiritual insights God reveals to us and more He convicts us on things. Seek God with all your heart. He is near to those of a contrite heart. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Psalms 46:10 -11 It’s easy to feel at times that if we just had the right connections we could do certain things or go certain places that other people are able to do because of their connections or status, and even though that is mostly correct in the earthly realm of things. What we got to realize that if we are God’s child then we do have the connections we need. We are connected to the one who has all the connections. If we have God then we have a friend in a high place. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:13-15 KJV https://bible.com As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. Psalms 42:1-5 KJV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 KJV Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20 KJV Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 KJV Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: Isaiah 26:3-4 What's driving you and what are you chasing after - the things of this world or God? Video11/24/2020 Hey Friend,
What’s driving you? What are you chasing after? 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is it’s own trouble. Mathew 6: 32-34 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive. Jer 29:12-14 Only God should be our motivation and the driving force in our lives. Not money, not fear, not our personal comfort, not what others think. What are we chasing after? Entertainment? Self-satisfaction? Self-glorification? Self-promotion, popularity? God needs to be our focus and drive. we need to be chasing after God. When we seek God with all our hearts he will be found of us. Read Mathew 6:19-21 We can’t serve God and mammon. “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. 14 Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, also heard all these things, and they [a]derided Him. Luke 16:13 -14 Mathew 6: 19 -21 19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Jer. 29:10-14
How to raise mission-minded children? Podcast
I can't say i have the answers to raising mission-minded children because this has not been my focus over the years, nor sadly was not what has been a part of my own personal life nor what I felt we needed to be training our children in. Missions and being missionaries were for others. That’s not who we were or what we did. We just lived our lives for God and kept our faith much to ourselves or at least was not out evangelizing as missionaries that was not our call. But recently I have been very convicted in this area. The great commission is a command for all. And I feel it is definitely something we need to be doing ourselves and raising our children to be mission-minded. How do we expect them to care about the lost and unreached if they don’t see that care in us the parents and showing them by example? They will just follow our footsteps of living their lives very much just for themselves. So i can’t really i don’t have to how-tos, but i have the don’ts. Missions are not just for missionaries, the call is for all. Ann Dunagan I just came across some really great missions podcast. First, i listened to Pam Feilds podcast number 19 titled Mission Minded Motherhood where she interviewed Ann Dunagan. Ann talked about her family’s ministry and about how we are we all have a responsibility to share the gospel. From that podcast, i went to Ann’s podcast called Mission-Minded Families podcast, and from hers found a couple of others too. Missions suitcase, Ann Dunagan Podcast mission-minded families https://missionminded.libsyn.com/ The Mission Suitcase by Lisa Batchelor The Mom Next Door By Pam Feilds # 19 Mission Minded Motherhood with Anna Dunagan. Dos: Here is some ideas that i think we will help besides just being a good example in being mission-minded. IS praying for the unsaved, reading missionary stories, listening to missions podcast, watching missionary or missions-minded films Dont’s: Don’t be too focused on entertainment, stuff, money, activities that pull families every from home in different directions. The apostle Paul I believe is a good example of a missionary who was not driven by money, and went through numerous hardships for the gospel’s sake, not considering his own health and wealth. And many more noble yet humble missionaries in our history who were so dedicated and full of compassion for the hearts and souls of the lost that they went to the very ends of the earth, risking their very lives in so many different ways, had very little of material wealth, and this world's comfort for no other reason except all for the Love of God and for the sake of bringing the gospel to those that hadn't heard. That is what we need to be presenting to our children. And are they still in? Are they still hungry for God and for living out their lives for Him and purposes? Are they willing to say yes not considering the cost or what this may cost them? Not considering what they may lose here on earth, but what they will gain in heaven. If we are of Christ then our hearts need to be in alignment with His. The love of God is laying down our lives for others. In Him, Mae Renfroe
Hey fellow mothers, I'm back! it's been awhile since I've been able to do an episode , and I'm excited about doing this one. I talk about the verse 2 Corinthians 5:20 that says we are to be ambassadors for Christ.
So I dig into what exactly is an ambassador, and how that looks for us as Christ followers. What is our role as ambassadors and what makes a great ambassador. We as mom's are to ambassadors for Christ and we are to be raising our children to be ambassadors. When we realize just who we are in Christ and fully embrace and step into that then it takes care of so many other issues in our lives. We can then have our perspectives and priorities in the right alignment with God and His will.
2 corinthians 5:20
"Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." We are to be ambassadors for Christ. But what exactly is an ambassador?
Ambassador [amˈbasədər] NOUN
an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country. An ambassador is an official envoy, usually a high-ranking diplomat who has been appointed to be in another country on behalf of their own country. They represent the moral principals and standards of their country, even though they may be far away from their homeland. When people see them they think of the country they represent. a person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity. "he is a good ambassador for the industry" synonyms: campaigner · representative · exponent · promoter · proponent · advocate · champion · supporter · backer · upholder · protagonist · booster
And what does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ? It could be said this way, that the “best of the best” is to be representing God, through His Son Jesus Christ here on earth! It must be someone who exemplifies Jesus. God wants to speak to us and through us, by His Son. (Hebrews 1:2-3)
What is the role we are to carry out? we need to be in tune with that which is godly. “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread.” Matthew 6:10-11. God’s will be done! How can this happen in my personal life? In order to have His will done in my life, my own will has to be done away with. “Behold, I have come … to do Your will, O God.” Hebrews 10:7-9. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” Galatians 2:20. What are the qualifications of a good ambassador? As an ambassador for God, my self-will must be crucified so I can do God’s will.when my “self” is given up, then Christ can live in me and through me, to an ever increasing degree. 4 but just as we have been approved by God pto be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not qto please man, but to please God rwho tests our hearts. 1 Thessaianloians 2:4 We need to be equipped in the word and in the knowledge of His Truth and righteousness. Be strong and courageous. Be bold and fearless. Be ready to give an account of the hope that's in you. A Christian is someone whose behavior and heart reflect Jesus Christ. God hears us before we even speak a word, ( Psalms 139:4 - Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. Isaiah 65:24- Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. ) So we can be assured that He hears our every prayer. And we can also be assured that He answers our every prayer too. But what we need to realize is that He answers in His time, His way and His will. So the answers don’t always come when we want, how we want and don’t always look the way we want them to. But He answers our prayers according to His will and what’s best for us for our good and for his glory. And that is really what we want anyway. We just want Him in our lives and His will done in our lives. I believe God answers every prayer in one of three ways. Yes. No. And not yet. In this video I want to encourage you to not give up or get weary in prayer, and not lose hope. But continue to seek the Father and His will and His heart. And seek and pray that your desires and heart longings are aligned with those of God’s. Psalms 37:4 tells us that when we take delight in the LORD, he will give us the desires of your heart. But first and foremost God himself needs to be the desire of our hearts. God and His Will for our lives need to be the desire of our hearts. And when we desire or love God with all our hearts, soul, and mind then hearts should be in the right place and we will be desiring the right things. May you be blessed and encouraged with this post and video about prayer. In Him, Mae I'm adding this video, taken out in our woods, to the Hope From the Cemetery series that I've been doing over the summer of 2020. It's done at the accident site of where we lost our son. I did a video here early in the spring before starting my series at the cemetery. ( there is a link to that video below ) I thought this video would be a great way to wrap up the series. I hope to do one more at the cemetery though . Mae Renfroe Here is the link to the first video I did out here in the woods of spring 2019. https://youtu.be/P0bXS8FG4uU And here is the link my first video from the cemetery in Hope From the Cemetery series 2020 https://youtu.be/eDbS5qSCHqY What do we do with the time God has given us? Are we doing His will? This is a word for somebody11/8/2020 Hi you all! God has been speaking to my heart lately on many things and so I just had to squeeze in time for this video and share with you all. Some of these things I have shared before about making the most of our time and how we should be living in a since of urgency for spreading the Word of God and being the light in our crazy world. But I am being more and more convicted that we need to be all the more diligent about spreading the gospel at this time and being the hands and feet of Jesus if we truly love Him. If we love God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength then it should show in every area of our lives. we should be just as passionate about reaching the lost, the lonely, and the hurting just as Jesus was. We need to have the heart of the Father. For more resources, and to connect with me please visit my website and blog at www.maerenfroe.com In Him, Mae Renfroe Here is a video just for my faithful subscribers!! I reveal our surprise in this fun video of our travelling on a four-day road trip with 10 of us! I also talk about a verse that's been on mind the past couple of days, and I talk about Walking by Faith . We don't look at those things around us, but we look up to the One who keeps and holds us in His hands. We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 He is with us wherever we go. Joshua 1:9 We are instructed to be strong, bold, and courageous. Not fearful, not timid, not weak. But we walk in the strength and power of God. We don't walk by fear, but only by faith. We don't have to be afraid. He said He will never leave us or forsake us. And we can say with boldness He is our Lord and our helper. Our refuge, shield, and strong tower. Proverbs 18:10 Hebrews 13:5 -6 Sure we don't know what tomorrow may bring, but we know who holds our every tomorrow. please feel free to connect with me here on my blog and i will get back to you as soon as i can. Mae Renfroe Ok, so here is the last garden video of the season. It's harvest season. Both in the gardens and fields, and a spiritual harvest. The doors may be closed for a lot of things we call normal life, but the doors and hearts are wide open for the spiritual harvest. Now is the time to be diligent in our witnessing. We are harvesting the last of the vegetables in our garden. Since doing this video we got the last of the potatoes, carrots, beets, and rutabagas out of the ground. We waited almost too late and the ground was already starting to freeze, but got everything out and safely in our cold room. We are very thankful for the good harvest. Watch all the way till the end of the video to get a fun sneak peek of our baby goats. #12 Hope From the Cemetery - comforting others with the comfort that God has given us heals us too10/20/2020 Hi there! Ephesians 4:4 | NIV To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 | NIV Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14 | NIV I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. Ephesians 1:18 | NIV The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. Proverbs 10:28 | NIV Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 | NIV Bible verse of the day How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. Psalm 119:9 | NIV For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. In this video, I read the story in the Bible about the boy that gave his lunch to Jesus to feed the hungry crowed. Jesus took the 2 fish and five loaves and blessed it and fed the crowd of over 5,000. What I point out is that it was not necessary for the boy to have had enough food for everybody, but it was only necessary to give what he had. An Jesus did the rest! Too often we focus on what we don't have and what we can't do and in doing so that holds us back from doing anything. All God asks is that we give what we do have. Focus on what we do have. Even if what we have seems too meager, not enough, not good enough, etc..... Just give it. God will bless it for His glory. So what is in your hands? What do you have that you can give to God for His use? Maybe it's your resources, your time, your spare room, your interests, your talents, your story, your testimony.your money? Like the two fish and the 5 loaves, God will take your offering and bless it and it will do more with it than you ever would have could have imagined. Because with God all things are possible. God does not ask for our ability, but our availability. We serve a God of the impossible! I share my experience after the loss of our 14 year old son, and how I didn't just allow the tears to flow. That process of Grieving is so important in our healing and moving forward after loss. I share comforting Bible verses that display God's great love and compassion for us, and how He is there for the broken hearted and He wants to heal and mend our broken hearts. There is a hope and purpose for the difficult things we go through in life. God wants us to get back up and keep on going. But we don't do that on our own strength but on His and He doesn't expect us to. To connect with me, or to ask about my grief coaching and support please visit my website and blog. In this episode I add to my series I'm covering in Be That Mom.
Be that mom - that disciplines her children with love and patience. I talk about the mistakes I made in my early parenting years and what to watch out for and avoid. I talk about the 4 styles of parenting and which one is the ideal one and which produces the outcome in our children that we all want and that is best for them as they grow to follow after God and that will enable them to be well balanced and secure children. Here is the link to the article I read about the 4 styles of parenting here on this episode of the podcast. https://www.verywellfamily.com/types-of-parenting-styles-1095045. In this video I talk about freezing peas with out blanching. This is my second year of doing this now. They turned out excellent last year. For the spiritual part of the video I introduce my video series, Is it God you Really Want or Just Heaven? May you be inspired to go all in and all out for God! In Him, Mae Hi, and welcome to another Hope From The Cemetery Video!! Last video I talked about giving thanks and finding things to be thankful for when going through tragedies and how healing that is. Praising God is much the same. It lifts us up and gives us something to be happy about and gives us hope and new energy for each new day. I share the list of songs that I loved singing along too and that really spoke to me and kept me going in the early days after loosing our son. I also talk about how a couple of the lines in the song ,Just Be Held, really stood out to me one day and was the answer to my prayer for a message to share with others. If you have a moment please leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you! Mae Renfroe |
