Sometimes God saves or keeps us from a situation, other times he saves us in the situation. Like the story of the 3 young men thrown in the fiery furnace in Daniel chapter 3. God didn't save or keep them from the furnace, but he saved them in it. He was right there with them. Then there's Daniel in the lion's den in Daniel chapter 6. Again he wasn't saved or kept from being thrown into the lion's den, but he was saved in the midst of it. And in those situations God gets the glory!! If they had been saved from those things completely God wouldn't have gotten the glory and praise. Mae Renfroe
